BiographyBelgian Doctor of Sciences from the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL, 1966). She was seconded from the Catholic University of Louvain and went on a cooperation mission to the University of Burundi (1979 to 1984) together with her husband Dr. Jean Lemann. In addition to their primary teaching mission, they conducted ethnobotanical research in the high-altitude region of the Congo-Nile ridge of this country. During their fieldwork, they collected a multitude of plants from traditional practitioners. |
