The following is a list of native or naturalised species which, at least some of the time, possess this spot-character.
Plants which obtain their nutrients through a mycorrhizal fungus that is attached to the root of a photosynthetic plant. I.e. they are neither parasitic (directly attached to the host) nor truly saprophytic (directly obtaining nutrients from dead matter).
Included here are only those myco-heterotrophs which lack or mostly lack chlorophyll.
