Slender climber with a woody rootstock. Leaves kidney-shaped, 3-5-veined from the base, glabrescent; petiole inserted at or very near the base of the leaf lamina. Flowers unisexual in axillary cymes. Male flowers with 4 petals and sepals; female flowers often only 2. Fruit an ovate-compressed drupe, yellow. |
