3 lobes of lower lip blue-mauve with darker veins - palate dark blue and veined - rest of flower dull white with green purple tip to spur.

6 ft bush. Lower lip mauve and rest dingy yellow.

Flowers purple - 3 broader tepals with median, spear-shaped orange-yellow mark. Spear blade ending on bend of tepal and with deeper purple margin reaching to base of tepal.

3-4ft tall pale green grass. Lower 1/2 in water at edge of dam, rooting at nodes.

Climber, cream green flowers, red on throat outside, sweet scented

In mud of wet vlei. Flowers very pale blue - upper lip greenish. Yellow spot on leaves. Lip opposed to another on upper lip.

Could be outside the Harare flora area

Flowers yellow, cone obtuse & conic tinged with red in mud ooze.

Flowers mauve, palate ridged with darker transrugosities. Yellow spot in hollow of these ridges and another 1.2 line in part of this.

Flowers purple with one or sometimes two spots of yellow in mid-palate. Never any trace of yellow in rest of flower. All plants in colony of area uniformly coloured.

Fronds pendulous, dark green.

In damp ground. Heads light brown. Leaves and peduncle minutely rugulose when fresh (i.e. surface cell walls reflect light).
